Recommended:

Great if u like the flavor and corresponding color! I needed purple cotton candy for my party but dont like the grape flavor, so i also tried dyeing my own sugar. you just put sugar in a ziploc bag, add a couple drops of food coloring, and shake!!! this makes a beautiful color with no artificial, bad tasting cotton candy at basically no cost! u can find tabletop cotton candy machines almost anywhere (target, Walmart, etc.) that are cheap and easy to use!
