The QC2-40 Alto Shaam Vertical Reach-In QuickChiller is the best in the industry for efficient reach-in blast chilling for restaurant quality food in a high volume food production setting. This self-contained unit is specifically designed to rapidly and efficiently remove heat from foods using a combination of low temperature and high velocity air, reducing potential bacterial contamination by 80%. The touchscreen enables programmable or manual chill modes, including four preset chill modes for rapid chilling with just one touch. The four preset chill modes include Soft Chill for less dense food items (such as individual portions), Hard Chill for more dense food items, Freeze Mode to rapidly freeze foods down to -10F, and Hold Mode for continuous refrigerated storage.

The Alto Shaam QC2-40 QuickChiller is a reach-in model ideal for restaurants, hotels and schools. The stainless steel shelves and side mount racks allow for greater pan capacity and higher production. This reach-in chller accommodates up to twenty full-size pans.
