Con Huevos Tacos is a very family-oriented restaurant. In fact, Hugo opened the restaurant in memory of his mother, who passed away from cancer a few years ago.

The tortilla recipe that is used at Con Huevos Tacos has been handed down for generations – Hugo’s Grandma Licha taught his mother Sonia how to make the tortillas and from there he learned how to make them. Con Huevos Tacos is known for their specialty tacos. These specialty tacos are named after women in his Hugo's family.

Hugo partners with Mission because Mission's culture is in line with his restaurant's culture. When he walks into Mission, he feels welcome and feels taken care of.
