The Edlund KSUV-18 Helios (TM) Electric UV Knife Sterilizer Cabinet (39150) safely locks in UV rays while in-use to sterilize knives to the max! Knives are placed on the included UVKR-18 knife rack within the locking cabinet. The glass cabinet door is shut and the timer is set. Within three minutes knives are 99% sterilized! But the timer can be set for up to 15 minutes for extra confidence in your knife sterilization. The KSUV-18 Electric Knife Sterilizer is designed to expose as much of the knives' surface as possible to the sanitizing UV light to ensure the utmost sanitization. To do this, it has mirrored interior walls and a clear, non-UV-filtering knife holder, which eliminate shadows and optimize the reach of the sanitizing UV rays. The plexiglass door filters out the UV light to ensure the operator is kept safe.
