Utility Scoops

A utility scoop is helpful in a variety of food service application for safe and sanitary food handling. Make sure your employees use a smaller utility scoop for handling popcorn kernels or measuring bulk spices to keep germs out of food storage containers. A large plastic portioning utility scoop with a handle works well for portioning ingredients such as flour or sugar from large dry food storage bins. Assign one utility scoop per ingredient bin to ensure sanitary food handling and to prevent cross contamination in your kitchen.
