Indian Kitchen got their start as a catering business in New Jersey. Jagjit Dhillon is an IT Engineer. Jagjit's wife is the chef. They both have a passion for food and wanted to continue the business when they moved to Texas.
They opened Indian Kitchen in McKinney in 2021. They use spices from India in their recipes to make authentic dishes. Signature dishes are chicken tikka masala and butter chicken.
The artwork at Indian Kitchen is all hand painted. It depicts the art form from the Warli tribe. The origin of the Warli art can be traced back around the 10th century AD.
As a new restaurant owner, Jagjit appreciates working with Claudia Diaz, one of our sales representatives in DFW. She was able to give advice and help consult on the equipment and supplies that Indian Kitchen needed.
