Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 can (28 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups green peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Make your stuffed pepper soup

Directions:

  1. In a Dutch oven or large pot, over medium heat, cook and stir beef until no longer pink. Drain.
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the cooked rice. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until peppers are tender, about 30 minutes.
  4. Add cooked rice. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes longer.
