Position Summary: The Install Team Member is responsible for installing and assembling equipment in the field. The installer delivers, uncrates, assembles, sets, and levels in place commercial kitchen equipment as scheduled. This role requires good communication skills, organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. This position will be engaging with both customers and teams within the Company. The Install Team Member is expected to always represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner and reflect Mission’s Core Values (Family, Genuine, Resourceful, and Driven).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive a company truck and tow a trailer
- Follow traffic laws when traveling
- Load and unload trailers with equipment
- Secure equipment properly when transporting
- Verify model numbers and serial numbers per order
- Assemble commercial kitchen equipment and set in place per instructions / plans
- Construct walk-in cooler and freezers
- Communicate effectively with Team Lead
- Complete installation in a timely manner
- Fill out workorders completely and accurately
- Properly maintain equipment and tools
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and procedures
- Keep trucks and trailers well maintained
- Follow proper procedures when returning equipment
- Attend and be engaged in installation team meetings
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 70lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to push or pull 100lbs across the floor
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
- Valid Texas Driver License with a clean driving record
- Possess the skill to operate industrial tools
- Must be able to work evening and weekend hours as required
- Must be able to travel to job sites throughout the region which may include overnight stay
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, and Resourceful individual
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in installation of commercial kitchen equipment
High school diploma/GED
