Upside Down Pizza

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 1 package of pepperoni
  • 15 oz. skim milk ricotta
  • 8 oz. Italian blend shredded cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Add pizza sauce to the ground beef.
  • Lightly oil a casserole dish.
  • Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with one can of crescent rolls.
  • Add half the ground beef mixture. Top with half the ricotta cheese. Top half the pepperoni.
  • Repeat step 5. Save a few pepperonis to top the casserole.
  • Top with one can of crescent rolls.
  • Bake casserole according to the crescent roll package or until golden brown. Make sure the crescent rolls are cooked all the way through.
  • Top with shredded cheese and pepperonis. Bake until cheese is melted.
